Video Message to Kyiv
May, 2026
We are proud to participate in the international conference "Museum Practices and Transformations in the Coverage of the World War II," hosted by the National Museum of the History of Ukraine in the Second World War in Kyiv. The event brings together museum experts from 15 countries to discuss memory preservation amid global instability.
As part of the international cooperation panel, we contributed a special video message addressing two critical issues:
Museums as pillars of recovery: Why museums must be seen not just as cultural institutions, but as vital actors for social resilience, democratic dialogue, and community healing.
Protecting shared heritage: How to boost the visibility of Ukrainian museums within Europe’s cultural landscape to counter Russia’s attempts to destroy and appropriate Ukrainian history.
