Visit of Vice Minister Sergiy Kyslytsya and Kateryna Bodnar to the Kyiv Biennale 2025 Exhibition in Warsaw
During his visit to Warsaw, Sergiy Kyslytsya, Ukraine’s Vice Minister for Foreign Affairs, together with Kateryna Bodnar, wife of the Ambassador of Ukraine to Poland, Małgorzata Ławrowska - von Thadden and Vasyl Pasternak from Obmin Foundation, visited the Museum of Modern Art in Warsaw (Muzeum Sztuki Nowoczesnej) to see the 6th Kyiv Biennale 2025 exhibition “Near East, Far West.”

The visit highlighted the growing recognition of culture’s role in shaping security and diplomacy. In a recent interview with Der Spiegel, Vice Minister Kyslytsya emphasized that “culture and security must be taught together.” His reflection draws attention to the ongoing attempts to erase Ukrainian identity and to the vital importance of defending it through art, language, and shared cultural expression.

Kateryna Bodnar, who actively supports initiatives promoting Ukrainian art in Poland, joined the visit and continues to play an important role in strengthening cultural ties between the two countries.
