The opening of the Gorokhiv Historical Museum took place on the day of the celebration of the 9th anniversary of Ukraine's Independence in 2000. This museum has become an important center for the cultural and historical heritage of the region, attracting the attention of both local residents and guests from other regions of Ukraine and abroad. Currently, the museum's collection includes over 2500 exhibits, which tell the rich history and culture of Gorokhiv and its surroundings. Among the exhibits, one can find archaeological findings, everyday objects, religious artifacts, samples of folk art, and much more. Each exhibit serves as a unique witness to past epochs and reflects the development of the culture and traditions of Gorokhiv. The museum continuously enriches its collections, engaging local residents, researchers, and collectors in cooperation.
