MUSEUM OF AGRICULTURAL HISTORY OF VOLYN - SKANSEN
The museum was opened on February 5, 1979, on the initiative of Petro Tesliuk and other specialists. In 1983, it was awarded the title "folk". Oleksandr Seredyuk initiated the creation of an open-air exhibition about the folk architecture of Volyn. The general plan for the exhibition was developed by Rostyslav Metelnytskyi. The museum recreates the atmosphere of a Polissian village from the 19th to the beginning of the 20th century. Currently, historical structures, including a house from 1804, are actively preserved.
