The Torchyn Historical Museum named after H.O. Hurtovyi is a treasury of the cultural heritage of the Volyn region, founded in 1957 on community principles by H.O. Hurtovyi. Under his initiative, thousands of historical artifacts have been collected, revealing the centuries-old history of Torchyn and neighboring villages. In 1960, the museum received official status and has since become known not only in Volyn but throughout Ukraine. The institution continues to develop, attracting visitors to various events and exhibitions that offer a unique perspective on the history of Torchyn.
