MUSEUM OF JEWISH PEOPLE CULTURE AND HOLOCAUST HISTORY "MIKHAIL MARMER MUSEUM”, KRYVYI RIH
The opening of the Kryvyi Rih Museum of Jewish Culture and Holocaust History, a separate department of the KETER NGO, took place on 29 August 2010. Located in two halls of the Beis Stern Shulman synagogue building, the museum is a regional centre for the study of Jewish culture and Holocaust history. The museum's activities are divided into several areas: the collection and preservation of Jewish artefacts, the implementation of field trips, the organisation of art exhibitions, educational projects (museum lessons and lectures), publications and research into the history of the Holocaust. The Museum's exhibitions introduce visitors to the spiritual world of European Jewry with its unique and universal values, promote the preservation of the memory of the Holocaust and create an atmosphere of tolerance, inter-ethnic and inter-religious understanding. The Museum's collection includes over a thousand exhibits.https://www.facebook.com/groups/Marmer.Museum.KETER/
