BORYS VOZNYTSKYI LVIV NATIONAL ART GALLERY
The Lviv National Art Gallery named after B.G. Voznytsky is the largest art museum in Ukraine, located in Lviv. Its collection consists of over 67,000 exhibits, covering the period from antiquity to modern times.

The gallery was founded in 1907 as the City Gallery, based on part of the collection of the Princes Lubomirski Museum. In 2009, it was granted national status, and in 2013, it was named after Borys Voznytsky, its long-time director and a prominent art historian. Among the most valuable collections are European art, Lviv sculpture, Ukrainian portraits of the 16th–19th centuries, icons, and furniture. The gallery also possesses unique works by Polish and Austrian artists.

The main building is located at Stefanyka Street, 3, and the gallery includes numerous museum divisions, such as:
  • Potocki Palace – a remarkable architectural monument of the late 19th century, featuring a collection of European art from the 14th to 18th centuries.
  • Lozinsky Palace – home to one of the largest collections of European and Ukrainian art from the 19th to 21st centuries in Eastern and Central Europe.
  • Museum of Modernism – a new exhibition space showcasing a retrospective of Lviv art in the context of modernism.
  • Boim Chapel – a unique example of sacred architecture from the 17th century.
The gallery actively hosts exhibitions, scientific conferences, and educational events, promoting the appreciation of art and cultural heritage in Ukraine. With its wealth of collections and diverse exhibitions, it serves as a vital center of cultural life in Lviv and Ukraine.
